Homopolypropylene is a polymer formed by polymerizing only propylene monomer. Homopolypropylene is a semi-crystalline polymer.
Because of its high crystallinity, homopolypropylene has excellent mechanical properties. Contains high rigidity, high tensile strength, and good heat deformation resistance. At the same time, because of its good fluidity and high crystallization temperature, the product molding cycle is shortened. Homopolymer polypropylene is widely used in various processing and molding processes such as injection and drawnwork.
Advantages of homopolymer polypropylene:
High rigidity, high tensile strength; chemical resistance, good acid resistance; low density, light weight; good heat resistance; good processing and formability; good electrical insulation.
