3. Properties: 
White microdot powder with luster, melting point at 622 o C, easily soluble in water, with remarkable chelating ability to some metal ions such as Ca 2+, Mg 2+, can soften hard water, change suspension into solution,slightly alkaline, without causticity.

 

4.Usage:

(1) used to soften water.Because it has the chelating calcium, magnesium, iron and other metal ions, the nature of the;  
(2) as peptizing agent, emulsifier.It has swelling on protein, solubilization, thus has the effect of peptization, to promote the emulsification effect to the fatty substance, of sand dirt, dust and other solid dispersion effect, it can enhance the surface activity of the surfactant, lower critical micelle concentration, it could reduce the dosage of surface active agent and enhance the dual role of detergency;  
(3) as a buffer.Even if there is acid dirt, it can also keep washing liquid certain basicity, is advantageous to the acid dirt removal;  
(4) as a desiccant.It has absorbed moisture to prevent scour agglomeration effect, it can keep the synthetic detergent products always become dry granular
