Description



Princose plate evaporator has the following advantages:
The unique rising film plate evaporator used in Princose, as shown in the figure: the cold material is pumped in from the
special-shaped port at the lower end, evenly distributed on the heat exchange plate through the specially designed diversion area,and the steam is introduced from the circular interface at the upper right side for complete countercurrent heat transfer, thus greatly reducing the logarithmic average temperature difference of heat transfer. In addition, the inherent corrugation of the plate enhances the fluid turbulence effect. These factors, such as the rising film pulling high-speed liquid flow velocity, promote that the evaporation temperature difference △T in the plate evaporator can be evaporated as long as 3℃, while the shell and tube are falling film evaporators, and the fluid and steam are evaporated downstream, even if it is equipped with a huge evaporator, △T is above 8℃ or even higher.




Secondly, the discharge port of the Princose evaporator adopts a special-shaped nozzle instead of a circular nozzle, as shown in the right figure. When the material rises, it is sprayed obliquely on the outer side of the corner hole of the plate evaporator,and the liquid flows down the wall of the corner hole of the evaporator to the liquid guide area and flows into the gas-liquid separator along the liquid guide area. Therefore, the disadvantage of excessive liquid carrying capacity of the conventional rising film evaporator is avoided, so the gas-liquid separator can be equipped with a smaller size without special treatment such as defoaming. The retention of material liquid is small, and the plate evaporator can operate quickly and nearly constant according to the changes of energy supply, vacuum degree, feed rate and concentration. Low temperature differential evaporationcan be used because the process fluid only flows under the action of gravity instead of being pushed by high temperature differential.
In addition, the residence time of materials in the evaporation unit is short, which is not easy to cause deterioration of
materials, and is suitable for processing heat-sensitive materials.
It is especially suitable for evaporation and concentration of foaming materials. As the material liquid evaporates in a film formin the heating plate, vapor-liquid separation is formed. At the same time, at the bottom of the effect body, most of the material liquid is pumped away, and only a small part of the material liquid and all secondary steam enter the separator for enhanced separation, so that the whole process of material liquid does not form too big impact, thus avoiding the formation of foam.

The evaporation operation temperature of the plate evaporator is lower than that of the traditional evaporator, and the residence time of the product in the "high temperature zone" is shorter than 1s, which can ensure that the original quality of the product is not affected by the "high temperature" and maintain the original quality, for example, the product is not easy to change color.

4) The unique plate design makes the fluid evenly distributed among the plates
Princose plate evaporators all adopt chocolate-shaped diversion area design at the inlet and outlet of plates, so that the media on both sides can obtain relatively uniform fluid distribution between plates. Even wide plates can make fluid evenly distributed between plates, which fundamentally improves the traditional plate heat exchanger with the same side flow. The difference of fluid temperature distribution along the way caused by different fluid distribution between plates and dead angle of flow leads to the adverse effect of lower heat exchange efficiency. In addition, this part of the diversion area also participates in heat transfer,which improves the richness of the heat exchange surface of the Princose plate evaporator. Because of the design of chocolate-shaped diversion area, the fluid is evenly distributed among the plates.


5) Long design life
During the operation of the plate evaporator, the frame and heat transfer plate will have thermal expansion, which will cause thermal stress in the plate evaporator. In order to design a plate evaporator with a service life of more than 30 years, Princose analyzed the thermal stress and fatigue characteristics of materials mathematically, so as to ensure the long-term stable operation of the heat exchanger.




6) Princose plate evaporator adopts a unique multi-point positioning mode with dovetail groove structure.
As shown in the lower left figure, this positioning method adopts the basic principle of "one plane, one side fixed pin, one side split pin" for mechanical positioning, thus opening up the freedom of a workpiece. This positioning method prevents
over-positioning, and makes it easier and more tidy to disassemble and assemble the plate. However, the upper and lower
positioning holes of traditional plate heat exchangers adopt the circular hole positioning mode with full-closed degree of
freedom. As shown in the lower right figure, this positioning will cause over-positioning, and the plate will not expand and
contract when heated and clamped, which will lead to leakage due to plate warping. At the same time, it is very difficult to
disassemble and assemble the plate, and the positioning accuracy of the plate is low, which affects the appearance quality.


7) The plate is not easy to deform
The Princose plate evaporator adopts corrugated plate as the positioning plane, one side adopts the method of comprehensive
limitation of freedom, and the other side adopts the method of non-comprehensive limitation of freedom, which can be extended in the longitudinal direction. When the plate is heated and clamped, it can extend downwards




along the longitudinal direction, which can greatly reduce the leakage chance of the plate heat exchanger, and the plate has no deformation, and the plate heat exchanger can be positioned on the frame more accurately.


8) Double-sided laminating process
In the pressing process of Princose plate evaporator plate, the double-sided coating process is adopted, which makes the plate with high forming precision, uniform thinning amount, no stress deformation and almost no damage to the plate. Princose plate has the characteristics of high flatness, small friction resistance, difficult scaling and pitting corrosion


9) Snap-in gasket form
Princose plate evaporator uses CLIP-ON non-stick gasket as the main seal, and has made great improvement on this basis. The gasket
is embedded in the groove of the plate and fixed on the plate by the gasket claw, which is not easy to fall off during assembly,
and no special tools are needed during assembly. The gasket adopts roof profile sealing structure, which has good sealing
performance and prolonged service life. The plate heat exchanger assembled by the gasket can withstand pressure of 40Bar. The
gasket is designed with many leak detection


measures to prevent fluid mixing (as shown in the figure: two seals are designed on
the sealing device between the plates, and there are leakage signal holes at the same time). When the gasket fails, it will be found and improved immediately. At the same time, when the heat exchanger is shut down for maintenance, the gasket can be removed to clean the heat exchanger plate, so as to avoid the expansion of the sealing rubber strip when encountering cleaning solution or other solutions, which will affect the service life. Reinstallation can be completed without any other special tools


10) interface bushing
Princose plate heat exchangers are all made of stainless steel or special material bushings, so that a closed fluid channel is
formed in the heat exchanger, which avoids the pollution of interfaces made of other materials to the medium of the heat
exchanger, causing corrosion and reducing the service life of the heat exchanger. (as shown)


11) clamping marks
Princose plate evaporator has its own special clamping marking ruler. During daily maintenance or repair, users can pre-tighten the plate evaporator to the size marked on the nameplate according to the requirements of the scale. At a glance, the plate heat exchanger can be easily installed to the required size as required.
