Indole butyric acid is a naturally occurring indole plant growth regulator. The pure product is white and light yellow crystals with an indole smell. The melting point is 123-125 degrees Celsius. It is soluble in alcohol, acetone, ether, insoluble in water and chloroform, and will slowly decompose under care. Store the molecular structure in the dark stability.

Indole butyric acid can be absorbed through the roots, stems, leaves and fruits of plants, but it has little mobility and is not easily oxidized and decomposed by indole acetic acid.
