Rock wool insulation is also known as mineral rock wool or slag wool insulation. Rock Mineral wool loose-fill insulation is similar to fiberglass except that it is spun from blast furnace slag, basalt and other rock-like materials instead of molten glass.

It is also compressed in bags and has to be blown-in or spray on mixed water-based adhesive through a machine.  & It can meet the requirements of sound absorption, thermal insulation and fire protection.
