The Drag Balancer is to adjust the resistance of the pipeline by producing local resistance by using the throttling principle of orifice. The Drag Balancer has the following characteristics:
1) The structure is simple and easy to manufacture and install;
2) When the fluid flows through the drag balancer, it suddenly shrinks and expands, resulting in local resistance and obvious resistance increasing effect;
3) Low cost and price, no need of electric or pneumatic control;
4) The wear resistance is good;
5) Because the diameter of the inner pipe is determined by the drag balance calculation of the pipe network system and adjusted relative to the valve, the tedious debugging workload of the pipe network is saved;
6) Compared with valve adjustment, it saves the installation of maintenance and operation platform and saves investment

Due to the structural characteristics of the Drag Balancer itself, it will have some specific requirements in the use process.
1) Once the structure and size of the Drag Balancer are determined, it can not be adjusted, which requires us to carry out accurate drag balance calculation for the pipe network when we design the dust removal pipe network system.
2) Due to the unadjustability of the Drag Balancer, the designer is required to re calculate the resistance balance of the whole system pipe network when the pipe network changes, and check and calculate all the resistance balancers again.
3) For the dust removal system with large dust grinding property, the anti-wear treatment should be paid attention to when using the Drag Balancer, but for the dust removal system with small dust grinding property, it does not constitute the main problem.
