Product Description


Tris Borate EDTA Buffer (TBE) pH 8.3 ,One pouch of powder is the standard unit, whose contents are smooth dry white powder. One pouch of powder dissolved in 500 ml of ultrapure water will yield a 1× solution containing 89mM Tris Borate, 2mM EDTA, pH8.3 at 25°C.. Contents were tested to be free of DNAse, RNAse, Protease, and Nickase. Don’t need to measure or adjust the pH, it is ready–to- use.Tris Borate EDTA Buffer (TBE) is often used for DNA or RNA GEL electrophoresis in molecular biology experiments. It maintain a suitable pH, make a certain solution conductivity to facilitate the migration of DNA molecules .The component EDTA can chelate Mg2+, prevent DNA enzyme from being activated in electrophoresis, also prevent Mg2+ from precipitating with nucleic acid.
TBE is characterized by strong buffer capacity, suitable for long-time electrophoresis, high resolution. The separation
effect is good as electrophoresis less than 1kb. It is not suitable in the recovery experiment.
