Self-cleaning permanent magnetic separators or permanent crossbelts, as they are commonly referred to, are used in, almost, every industry where there is a need to clean tramp iron from a conveyor, but, the intensity doesn’t have to be as great and the job is lighter duty. Some industries like this are plastic recycling, tire shredding, fertilizer manufacturing, escrap, and many others.
Products features
Permanent cross belts are used across many industries where the job is not as hard on the machine as others are. They utilize a belt that goes around a permanently magnetic core that pulls out unwanted material and uses the belt to remove it from the magnetic field. Based on the application, these belts can be standard duty, heat resistant, or even cladded in stainless steel to protect them against sharp pieces.
Designed with a small structure to fit in tight areas. Easy to Maintain. Much lighter in weight than larger units. Easily adjustable belt tracking system Clean themselves from the ferrous debris they remove. Can be fitted with a hydraulic drive for arears with limited or no electricity.

Applications
Suspended permanent magnetic separators are applied in wide industries like thermal power plants, coal preparation plants, cement plants, steel mills, chemical plants, mineral processing plants, ports and recycling, etc. They are used to remove the tramp iron on the conveyor belt to protect the downstream equipments and the conveyor belts itself . Suspended permanent magnetic separators are suspended above the cover belt through the slings or chains. They have the self-cleaning type with is usually fixed in position; manual type which is movable and needs the manual/electro hoist to move the separator when discharging the tramp iron.
