Introduction
MagPure Seed DNA LQ Kit supplies a simple and rapid extraction of genomic DNA from different plant pieces and seed.
The kit is based on superparamagnetic particles purification technology, no phenol-chloroform extraction or alcohol precipitation. The whole extraction process is only 60 minutes. This kit can use on different automatic extraction machines like KingFisher ML, KingFisher Flex and KingFisher Duo. Purified DNA can be used directly for PCR, quantitative PCR, Southern Blot, hybridization, and transgenosis detection.
Procedure
This product is based on the purification method of high binding magnetic particles by magnetic field to separate.
Plant samples are ground into powder by physical methods. Under the action of lysate, bacteria DNA and plant DNA is fully released from the cell. The binding solution and magnetic beads are added to mixture. The DNA is selectively adsorbed to the surface of the magnetic beads. The impurities such as proteins are in the supernatant and will be pippetted out. The magnetic beads with DNA are washed to remove impurities. The DNA is eluted with elution buffer or water and magnetic beads are separated under a magnetic field.
