Pallet exchanger CPS 200
Pallet exchangers from our series CPS are simple yet extremely reliable cam driven devices that are ideally suited for the automatic handling of piece parts on machining centers.
These electro mechanical units transform the constant rotary input speed of a 3 phase brake motor, into a series of pre-engineered steps calculated to transfer the mass of the work holding pallets together with fixtures and piece parts through a smooth and controlled motion at all times.The CPS unit fitted with a fork-like double arm to simultaneously pick up one pallet from the loading station and one from a pallet receiver which is typically fitted to an indexing or rotary table on the machine, then rotates 180° about its axis to load and unload new and machined piece parts in an automated cycle, which depending upon the pallet weight and center distance between the pallets will complete an exchange between 2.5 and 6 seconds.
These units are an ideal choice when designing a production machine or one intended to be used in an un-manned machining cell.
