Wheel bucket dredger is large scale full hydraulic control.It is ideal choice for sand field and river sand mining. It can also be used in salt mining in salt lakes, offshore and river dredging, hard riverbed mining, waterway improvement and development. Dug sand after screening and separation is pure and inclusion-free, which is an ideal choice for the building industry.

 

The whole dredger adopts hydraulic and centralized control system. The main body consists of three pontoons, when used, it is spliced into a whole. The cabin is dismantled, which can lose height when through the limit height place such as bridge. When the dredger reaches the water no connected area, it can be dismantled and transports on long vehicles or trains. It is equipped with self-propeller, anchor arm, spud devices & carrier, deck crane and so on. The bucket-wheel driving device adopt lubricating oil, and independent positioning metal floating ring seal.

Main Features:

Hydraulic winches 

For hosting the ladder, one hoisting winch is provided on the front of the main pontoon mounted on a stiffened foundation. The winch is hydraulically driven through a reduction gearbox build in the winch structure. The winch has a disc brake that is automatically activated in case of pressure drop. The winch is operated from the control cabin and has one fixed speed.

 

For ladder side pull, two winches are provided on the front of the main pontoon mounted on a stiffened foundation. The winch is hydraulically driven through a reduction gearbox build in the winch structure. The winch has a disc brake that is automatically activated in case of pressure drop. The winch is operated from the control cabin and has variable speed.

 

Hydraulic system

Hydraulic system is the most important parts of river sand dredger and wheel bucket dredger. The hydraulic system requirements are very high and strict; it’s the main artery of the entire sand mining dredge. Lateral traction winches, lifting winch and cutter head of the dredgers are driven by hydraulic motors.

 

We use hydraulic to drive the whole dredger including winches, cutters, hydraulic oil cylinder, etc. The valve is REXROTH, and the control system of hydraulic is SIEMENS PLC.

 

Dredge Pump 

The dredge pump is high efficiency made from wear resistant casting impeller and liners fitted on heavy duty shaft and high quality roller bearings.

 

The impeller is fitted on the shaft by trapezoid thread directly machine on the shaft end. The shaft sealing is a water cooled sealing that can be replaced after wear life. The impeller is a special type of double curved vanes high efficiency and wear life optimized tested in laboratory and onboard of dredgers. The impeller is fixed on the shaft by trapezoid thread machined directly in the impeller hub.

 

The pump casing has a shape of a volute designed of a high efficiency and wear life optimized tested in laboratory and onboard of dredgers. The pump liners are made of high wear resistant materials and thick wall thickness to maximize the wear life. The casting covers are made from fabricated steel stiffened where necessary and machining to fit the case and the liners.

 

 

 

 Deck crane and hydraulic oil cylinder 

The deck crane that installed beside the sand pump is a kind of lifting equipment with cantilever and mainly used as a tool when repairing the sand pump and replacing the wearing parts.

Hydraulic oil cylinder, usually used to lift or fall down the spuds to help the dredger's moving. The power will be offered by hydraulic system.

 

Operation cabin 

The dredger is equipped with an operation cabin that provides good visibility all around and good safely performance because of two lockable doors and a front window. And the dredger cabin is equipped with rest chair, air conditioner, the noise is very low, suitable for long working time. To pass low bridge and for road transport easily, the controlling room can be dismounted.
