Cold upsetting A forging process in which metal bars are formed by upsetting (usually locally) a die at room temperature. The head used to make screws, bolts, rivets, etc. Cutting may be reduced or replaced.
Forging billet materials can be copper, aluminum, carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel and titanium alloy, etc., the utilization rate of materials can reach 80~90%. Cold heading is mostly carried out on special cold heading machine, which is convenient to realize continuous, multi-station and automatic production. In the cold heading machine, the process of cutting, upsetting, accumulating, forming, chamfering, twisting, reducing and trimming can be completed in sequence. High production efficiency, can reach more than 300 pieces/min, the largest cold heading workpiece diameter is 48mm. The bar is automatically fed to a certain degree by the feeding mechanism, and then cut off into blank by the cutting mechanism, and then sent by the clamp transfer mechanism to the pile shape and punching station for cold heading forming.
This technology belongs to a type of cold forming, which is the process of punching, bending and drawing materials without heating. Cold forming process includes cold heading, cold rolling, die forging and so on.
Main advantages of cold-formed steel structure:
1.compared with thicker hot rolled steel, cold shaped steel can be processed to accommodate smaller loads and shorter spans.
2.Unusual cross section shapes can be obtained economically by cold forming and satisfactory strength to weight ratio can be obtained.
3.consider the packaging and transportation of the compact type, can produce can be nested cross section.
4.There is no telescopic invisible change under the action of environmental gravity.

Q:How many checks are performed on a project?
A:Usually, products will go through the following four inspections: incoming inspection, production first inspection, sampling inspection, and pre-shipment inspection. Among them, sampling inspection will be conducted multiple times.
Q:How do you guarantee quality?
A:During the production process, workers' self-inspection and route inspection should be carried out regularly.
