No.130 series viscometer is a viscosity testing instrument recommended by drilling fluid testing standard.

 

Six-speed rotational viscometer is a direct reading viscosity measuring instrument for measuring viscosity at different shear rates. It can accurately measure Newtonian fluid and non-Newtonian fluid.The instrument is composed of power part, speed changing part, measuring part and bracket part. The instrument has two adjustable rotating speeds with the characteristics of convenient operation and accurate test, beneficial to safe, fast and scientific drilling.

 

The No.130 series viscometer produced by our company is a kind of true coaxial cylinder rotary direct reading viscometer. It is also the most commonly used test instrument for viscosity and shear force test of drilling fluid.

 

Standard R1-B1 rotor suspension combination and F1 torsion spring are provided for drilling fluid viscosity and shear test in accordance with API RP 13B of American Petroleum Institute specification.Other rotor suspension combinations and torsion springs can be used to expand the measurement range or increase the sensitivity. When the standard rotor suspension combination and torsion spring are selected, the rheological parameters of drilling fluid can be easily determined by simple calculation of observation data.

It is a rotational viscometer driven by motor. Drilling fluid is in the annular space between two concentric cylinders. The drum rotates at a constant speed, and the rotation of the drum in drilling fluid generates torque to the inner cylinder, and the torsion spring prevents the inner cylinder from rotating, while the dial connected with the inner cylinder indicates the rotating position of the inner cylinder.
