Description


 According to the approximate weight of the steel rail in kilograms per meter, it can be divided into three types: crane rail, heavy rail and light rail.
1. Crane rail: There are four types: QU120, QU100, QU80, and QU70. The material is generally manganese steel. The largest unit weight is QU120, which can reach 118kg/m.
2. Heavy rails: There are mainly five types of 38, 43, 45, 50kg, and 60kg. According to the steel grades used. They are divided into ordinary manganese steel rails,copper-containing carbon steel rails,high-silicon copper-containing steel rails,copper rails and manganese rails,Silicon rail, etc.
3. Light rail: There are two kinds of national standard (GB) and Ministry standard (YB Metallurgical Ministry standard). GB models are mainly 9, 12, 15, 22, 30kg/m, etc., and YB models are: 8, 18, 24kg/m etc.
Manufacturing and use: The rail is rolled from carbon killed steel smelted in an open hearth furnace and an oxygen converter. Its purpose is to withstand the operating pressure and impact load of rolling stock.
