The PTC heating element covered with insulating film is a new type of PTC heater. It is consisted of one or more PTC element(s) combined with two aluminum / stainless steel /copper plates as electrodes and packed in insulating film. You can see the outer surface of the metal electrode is covered with insulating yellow film, when you open the insulating film, you can see there is a pair of metal electrodes with leads installed on both sides of the PTC element. The surface of PTC heating element must be insulated, it has to undergo very strict insulation tests.
