Soldering flux pen:

In the welding process: "to remove the oxide" and "reduce the welding material surface tension" which the two main role due to chemicals. Removal of surface oxide

Because the cause of the atmospheric oxygen, all sorts of material is actually surrounded by a layer of oxide, its thickness is about 2 x 10 to 9 ~ 2 x 10 to 8 m. During welding, the oxide film is bound to prevent solder wetting of parent metal, welding can't normal, so we must in the parent metal surface coating flux, make the surface of the parent metal oxide reduction, so as to achieve the aim of removing oxidation film. Welding of high temperature, on the other hand, easy to make welding material surface oxidation. Helps the soldering paste helps to prevent oxidation process.
