Desioxidant Inoculant Ferrosilicon Slag FeSi Slag For Steelmaking
Silicon slag is a by-product from the the manufacturer of silicon metal and Ferro silicon . It is usually made up of 45 to 65percent silicon and other elements.Silica slag comes from the residue of ore refining, It is a by-product of silicon metal andFerro silicon production process.It also can be deeply processed into briquette, lump, powder to improve efficiency.Silicon Slag Application:
1. It is a good substitute for ferro silicon in steel making which has advantage in reducing the making cost.
2. It is used as deoxidizer in steel making.
3. Silicon content from 30~50% is used for silicon addition for iron making in the blast furnace and cupola, 50~70% is used forthe deoxidization of steel making.
4. We use silicon slag to produce silicon briquette which is far and wide market in domestic and international.
