Scope of application

Little knowledge of total alkalinity
The optimal total alkalinity range for aquaculture is between 75-200mg/L
Freshwater or low-salinity cultured prawns, the minimum total alkalinity requirement is 75mg/L
For mariculture prawns, the minimum total alkalinity requirement is 100mg/L
During shrimp disease epidemic season or rainy season, the total alkalinity of pool water should be increased to 120-150mg/L
The total alkalinity of nursery water is best adjusted to 120mg/L or more
Method of operation

Matters needing attention
1. If the water sample is turbid, take the supernatant for testing after the water sample is clarified
2. If turbidity appears immediately after the reagent is added, it should be discarded, and the tested water sample should be filtered and tested again
3. When testing again, try to compare colors under better light
4. Use immediately if the product is splashed into eyes, nose and mouth during testing Wash with clean water. Splash on the table or utensils should be cleaned immediately
