1. Why need SABER?
On July 1, 2020 the SABER platform was linked with the FASAH system. This integration ensures the automatic verification of Shipment Certificates - there is no need to print a Shipment Certificate of Conformity (SCoC) as it will automatically be in the FASAH system. Any shipment to Saudi Arabia that does not have a SCoC will be required to be re-exported.
2. What is PCoC ?
PCoC is in short of Product Certificate of Conformity.
3. Who will issue the PCoC ?
The type approval Certificate will be issued through the SABER system after compliance to relevant standards is proven and after approval by SASO Approved Conformity Assessment Body.
4. How long is validity for PCoC ?
Each PCoC validity one year.
5. What is required documents to apply PCoC ?
When applying PCoC for your Saudi import products, need provide some necessary documents like application form, manufacture company license, product photos, test reports, quality certificates,risk assessment reports, inspection reports and etc according to products character .
6. What is SC?
SC is in short for Shipment Certificate. It’s valid only for one shipment.
7. How to make SC ?
After your products got PCoC, then can log in SABER system to apply SC according to final Invoice of the shipment.
