FIPV Ag Rapid Test Kit is a sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of FIPV Ag Rapid Test Kit in cat’s secretions.

2. PRINCIPLE OF THE ASSAY
FIPV Ag Rapid Test Kitis designed to detect the antigens of in feline ocular and nasal and mouth secretions. Two monoclonal antibodies in the kit specifically bind with different epitopes of the antigens. After being absorbed into the cellulose pad, the antigens of FIPV Ag Rapid Test Kit move and bind with gold-colloid complex of monoclonal anti-FIPV Ag Rapid Test Kit of the conjugate pad, forming Ab-Ag complex. This complex, then, forms Ab-Ag-Ab direct sandwich binding with the antibody of another monoclonal anti-FIPV Ag Rapid Test Kit in the nitrocellulose membrane. The test results can appear on Control and Test lines where the principles of immunochro matography are applied.
