Q: Nearly same exterior, how to tell quality?
A:
1. Price and exterior. Though LED lighting products are with same or similar exterior, due to
raw material cost difference is big, poor quality are all poor housing exterior with short FINs and
light weight.So prices are also low.
2.the driver exterior is also low-end with poor IC,MOS and capacitances.
3.Led chip .
Q:Does led light really have 50,000 hours lifespan?
A:50,000 or longer lifespan is only theory from lab test. But due to working environments are
different from in lab, actual lifespan is only <=30,000hours.
Some can be more than 50,000houses, up to 70000hours .
Q:For same power, why different suppliers with different brightness?
A:Different chips, or same chip but different brightness version. The brightness will be different.
But for same chip and same brightness version, the brightness will be slight difference.
But please make clear the difference between LEDs and lamp fixture.
For example,100W LED flood light ,bridgelux 110-120lm/w LEDs, the LEDs brightness
will be 1100-12000lm.But some supplier quote Bridgelux chip , but use other lower quality chip .
Please carefully identify.
But the LED flood fixture will be only around 9000-10000lm.Please note.
Q:What is CRI?
A:CRI is a figure which feedback the real objects colors. Higher CRI with higher cost.Generally,LED flood
and LED high bays,if they are made by epistar or bridgelux chip,the CRI are all around 7075Ra.If this
figure higher than 75,please ask your suppliers to send test data.Because there are some suppliers write
a high data to attract clients but actually,the figure is even lower than the market.
Q:What is PF and efficiency?
A:PF and efficiency is to feedback the driver electrical performance.Higher PF and efficiency with
higher cost.
Q:What is the difference between CREE chip and Bridgelux chip?
A:CREE is UAS Top brand only original imported ,Bridgelux is USA brand,but most Domestic Package in China .
Both brands are very good quality.Bridgelux 110-130 lm/w version usually for mid end market with very stable quality,And CREE
130-150 lm/w version usually for high-end market.
Q:Why UL/cul and DLC
A:UL and cUL is a safety Certification ,DLC is Energy efficiency certification,DLC listed user can get large amount rebate from
engineer retrofit department.
Q:What is the best to ship products?
A:For small order,express will be best.And for bulk order,sea ship way is best but take much time.
