FRP SF double-layer oil tank

Double-layer oil tanks refer to three types: SS oil storage tank, SF oil storage tank and FF oil storage tank. The full name of SF is steel reinforced glass fiber double-layer structure oil storage container, which is a double-layer structure oil tank with a layer of glass fiber reinforced plastic (that is, glass fiber reinforced plastic) anti-seepage jacket added to the single-layer steel oil tank . There is a through gap space between the steel inner tank and the FRP outer tank; the full name of FF is glass fiber reinforced plastic double-layer oil tank, the inner and outer layers are both made of glass fiber reinforced plastic, and there is a through gap space in the middle; The leak detection device can monitor the gap space 24 hours a day. Once the inner tank or the outer tank leaks, the sensor of the leakage detection device can detect the liquid level at the bottom of the gap space and give an alarm to ensure the safe use of the oil tank.

 The structure of SF double-layer oil tank:

lInner layer: It is made of 6mm thick Q235-B steel plate, which has improved strength compared with ordinary single-layer oil tanks with a thickness of only 5mm.

lOuter layer: Reinforced glass fiber layer, with a thickness of 2.5mm or more, with good compression and shock resistance. It has corrosion resistance and electric corrosion resistance;

lThrough gap: 0.1~3.5mm; the range of 300°, without firm support.

lStrengthening structure: strengthening the inner tank

lDetection equipment: Leak detector monitors in real time for 24 hours, and alarms when it detects the liquid level at the bottom of the gap space.

Manufacturing process

Controlled by the computer, the inner lining layer (such as the anti-corrosion inner lining layer) is made on the core mold as required, and the structure layer is wound according to the specified line type and thickness after the gel, and finally the protective layer is made.

Product production and inspection standards

In order to ensure the high quality of the product and the specific performance requirements from start to finish, it is extremely important to strictly control the various production processes, the selection of raw materials and the final product inspection of each process.

(1) Lightweight and high strength

The relative density is between 1.5 and 2.0, only 1/4 to 1/5 of that of carbon steel, but the tensile strength is close to or even higher than that of carbon steel, and the specific strength can be compared with high-grade alloy steel. Therefore, it has excellent results in aviation, rockets, space vehicles, high-pressure vessels, and other products that need to reduce their own weight. The tensile, bending and compressive strengths of some epoxy FRP can reach more than 400Mpa.

(2) Good corrosion resistance

FRP is a good corrosion-resistant material, and it has relatively resistance to atmosphere, water and general concentrations of acids, alkalis, salts, and a variety of oils and solvents. It has been applied to all aspects of chemical corrosion protection, and is replacing carbon steel, stainless steel, wood, non-ferrous metals, etc.

(3) Good electrical performance

It is an excellent insulating material used to make insulators. It can still protect good dielectric properties under high frequency. It has good microwave permeability and has been widely used in radomes.

(4) Good thermal performance

FRP has low thermal conductivity, 1.25~1.67kJ/(m·h·K) at room temperature, which is only 1/100~1/1000 of that of metal. It is an excellent thermal insulation material. It is an ideal thermal protection and ablation-resistant material under instantaneous ultra-high temperature conditions, and can protect the spacecraft from being washed by high-speed airflow above 2000℃.

(5) Good designability

a:Various structural products can be flexibly designed according to needs to meet the requirements of use, and the products can have a good integrity.

b:Materials can be fully selected to meet the performance of the product. For example, it can be designed to be corrosion resistant, resistant to instantaneous high temperature, the product has particularly high strength in a certain direction, and has good dielectric properties, and so on.
