Gabion Basket are wire mesh boxes, containers or baskets filled with rock to prevent soil erosion and to retain / contain soil particles. Flat Gabions, called River or Reno Mattresses, are widely used in river courses where soil erosion is a problem over a large flat or sloped area in need of protection against soil loss or scour. They are used mostly in the civil engineering industry, especially in the construction of roadway drainage structures. Recently however, due to the environmental benefits associated with gabions, they are being used in many various applications and industries.

Gabion mesh is divided into hexagonal braided gabion mesh and welded gabion mesh


Hexagonal Gabion Mesh
Gabion Wire Mesh is also called heavy hexagonal wire netting. It is made from high grade Carbon steel iron wire, heavy zinc coated wire, PVC coated wire through twisting and braiding by machine, It is mainly used in supporting and protecting side slope and basis pit,mountain rock hanging mesh, green guard rail netting on side slope, railway guard netting. Heavy Hexagonal wire netting also can be worked into stone cage or stone cage cushion, and used in reservoir , river or dyke for closure.
Soft structure is exactly adapt to any changing of slope but not ruined by it, which more stable than rigid structure.The gabion wire mesh is folding and can be assembled site,which saves on transport cost.
