Usage
This kit is used to quantitatively detect the activity of alanine aminotransferase in human serum in vitro.
Background of Clinical Indications
It is used for the auxiliary diagnosis of liver disorder, cardiovascular disorder, skeletal muscle disease, and pancreatitis, etc.Patients with acute viral hepatitis and acute icteric hepatitis have a significant increase in transaminase 2 to 3 weeks before the onset of jaundice; in patients with chronic active hepatitis or fatty liver: ALT is slightly increased or in the normal range,and AST > ALT; in patients with hepatic cirrhosis: ALT is slightly or moderately increased; in patients with cardiac insufficiency: ALT is significantly increased; skeletal muscle injury, polymyositis and other diseases can also cause an increase in transaminases.
