The Tracer AN series. Based on common negative design and advanced MPPT control algorithm, with LCD displaying running status, this product is artistic, economical and practical. Improving the MPPT control algorithm further, Tracer AN series can minimize the maximum power point loss rate and loss time, quickly track the maximum power point of the PV array and obtain the maximum energy from solar modules under any conditions; and can increase the ratio of energy utilization in the solar system by 10%-30% compared with a PWM charging method. The limitation function of the charging power and current and reducing charging power function automatic improve the stability which works even connecting oversize PV modules and in high temperature, and increase the professional protection chip for the communication port, further improving the reliability and meeting the different application requirements.

Tips:
1. Always connect the battery first!!! Make sure enough batteries’ voltage lets the controller recognize the right system voltage.
2. DO NOT connect any Inverter/wind / Alternator or Charger into the charge controller! connect the Inverter directly to the battery.
3. Ensures solar input voltage higher than 3V or more than batteries’ voltage and total input power in the range. the charging current almost is zero when the controller is floating charge.
4. Parameter Setting Rules: Floating voltage > Low voltage reconnect > Low voltage discharge.
5. The solar charge controller will stop output when the battery is under 10.7V (adjustable). The LCD will be blank when the battery is under 8V and it will re-output when the battery is up to 12.6V (adjustable).
6. Install the Charger controller to the battery as close as possible to avoid voltage and power dropping caused by overlong wire and affect normal voltage judgment.
7. Remove all the debris around the controller(leaving a space of approx. 5.91in)
8. WARNING: Do not reverse the polarity of the batteries. Reverse polarity will damage the charge controller permanently!!!
