This unit, the TM-88 metal detector, as a result of applying of high transmitting power and auto tracker, is of quite depth of detection and accurate identification capability. It is a professional instrument, which is especially suitable for detection in deep stratum.
It would be affected inevitably by the geologic conditions to detect a metal object through thick soil. There are various kinds of mineral in the ground. They would also cause metal detector to give signal. Some mineral signal may cover the signal of metal and create a false appearance. People who had operated the old detector knows the signal will change as the search head passes along an uneven earth surface, and when the search head is drawn near at a pile of soil, stones or bricks and so on, the instrument is likely to give an alarm. It is called effect of mineralization. For this reason the old detector can only detect the targets near the surface and is helpless to the targets buried deeply. The TM-88 metal detector has been equipped with advanced ground balance system, and only select the metal signal. It is very effective in eliminating the soil signal interference, therefore, depth of detection is enhanced enormously.

Instructions of TM99-S
TM99S is a digital display dashboard.
“Reset” button: used for signal reset. When the signal is not “0”, press this button to make the instrument signal to “0”.
Ground Balance (+) button: short press for manual adjustment (numeric plus); long press for automatic adjustment (long press a few seconds ).
Ground Balance (-) button: short press for manual adjustment (numeric minus); long press for mode conversion (Mode 1 and Mode 2).
Recognition Sensitivity (+) button: adjust the sensitivity. Numerical increases while sensitivity decreases.
Recognition Sensitivity(-) button: adjust the sensitivity. Numerical decreases while sensitivity increase, long press for primary mode and high mode conversion .if the metal environment is complex, such as old house and grotto, etc, generally, please use primary mode. High mode is suitable used in the field around almost nothing scrap metals.
