Slider blocks or guide block bearing is a moving part, and it is an important part of the linear guide system. Linear slide (linear slider) is also called linear rail, slide rail, linear guide rail, linear slide rail, linear guideway.
In the mainland, it is called a linear guide, and in Taiwan it is generally called a linear guide or a linear slide. The linear guide system is mainly used in mechanical structures with high precision requirements. It is used to support and guide the moving parts, and perform reciprocating linear motion in a given direction.
A linear guideway allows a type of linear motion that utilizes rolling elements such as balls or rollers. By using re-circulating rolling elements between the rail and the block, a linear guideway can achieve high precision linear motion. Compared to a traditional slide, the coefficient of friction for a linear guideway is only 1/50.
Because of the restraint effect between the rails and the blocks, linear guideways can take up loads in both the up/down and the left/right directions. With these features, linear guideways can greatly enhance moving accuracy, especially, when accompanied with precise ball screws.

The product remains compa-tible as a complete system (carriage and guideway). Carriages in the 4S design, as well as previous carriage designs, can be operated on the guide rails, which have remained unchanged by the new carriage design. The accessories have been modi -fied and can be used for 4S carriages as well as previous carriage designs. Under- pinned by key design changes such as new redirection units (gray) for low-pulsation running, improved lubricant distribution with less leakage, a more robust front plate with stainless steel plates and with four screw fastenings, replaceable cross wipers, and optimized longitudinal and cross wipers for even better sealing.
Exceptional rigidity, high dynamic and static load-carrying capacities, outstanding smooth running and a fully sealed carriage are the main features of the MONORAIL MR Roller Guideway.
Specifically designed for machine tools, these properties result in higher machining rates plus enhanced geometrical accuracy and surface quality of the machined component. The exceptional all-round rigidity of the products and the method of connection with the surrounding structure provide improved vibration behaviour at lower amplitudes therefore extending tool life.
