Application
(1) Used As Plasticizer:
Dioctyl Phthalate/ DOP is the most widely used plasticizer, except cellulose acetate and polyvinyl acetate, and has good
compatibility with most synthetic resins and rubber used in industry.
As a main plasticizer, Dioctyl Phthalate/ DOP is widely used in the processing of PVC soft products, such as film, sheet,
artificial leather, cable material and molding products.
(2) Used in food contact packaging materials:
Dioctyl Phthalate/ DOP is non-toxic and can be used in food contact packaging materials, but because Dioctyl Phthalate/ DOP is easy to be extracted by fat, it is not suitable for fatty food packaging materials.
(3) Used in nitrocellulose paint:
Dioctyl Phthalate/ DOP can also be used in nitrocellulose paint to make the paint film have elastic and high tensile strength. In a variety of synthetic rubber, the product also has a good softening effect.
(4) In addition, Dioctyl Phthalate/ DOP is also used as shrinkage agent, antiwear agent, organic solvent and gas chromatography stationary solution.
