Mode 3 EV Charging Cable
3.5KW/7KW/11KW/22KW EV charging connector for ev charging stations with CE certification. This series of products includes Type1-to-Type 2 and Type 2-to-Type 2 EV charging cables. The plugs have a thermoplastic shell and pins made of silver-plated copper alloy. With ergonomic designs, the plugs are comfortable to hold and easy to plug and unplug. They are compatible with electronic locks on the EVSE or the EV. The vehicle will give a demand to lock the plugs at both ends after it is ready for charging. The current of the Type 2-to-Type 2 EV charging cable can be one phase or three phases.

A. How to start charging
1. Firmly insert the Type 2 male plug into the outlet socket on the AC EVSE.
2. Insert the Type 2 female plug into the inlet socket on the electric vehicle.
3. Lock your electric vehicle and the AC EVSE will charge the vehicle.

B. How to stop charging
1. Unplug the Type 2 male plug from the EVSE outlet to disconnect power.
2. Disconnect the Type 2 female plug from the vehicle inlet.

* This is a Mode 3 EV charging cable special for EVs with a Type 2 inlet and the EVSE has a Type 2 outlet. Don't use it for EVs with different inlet types or EVSEs with different outlet types.

Common Problems
* Pins not latching- Make sure to use considerable force when plugging in the cable until the pins are well connected to the EVSE or the electric vehicle.
* Charging settings on the electric vehicle – Make sure no timers or other settings are turned on.
* The vehicle is locked – The vehicle needs to be unlocked and powered off to start the charging process.
* Plugging into another cable – This cable must be plugged directly into a Type 2 EV inlet socket and a Type 2 EVSE outlet socket.
