Application:
Dimethylformamide is not only a chemical raw material with wide use, but also an excellent solvent widely used. It can be used for wet spinning of synthetic fibers such as polyacrylonitrile fibers, synthesis of polyurethane, plastic film making, or as Paint stripper. It can also dissolve some low solubility pigments, so that the pigments have the characteristics of dyes.
In petrochemical industry, it can be used as a gas absorbent and chlordimeform. In the pharmaceutical chemical industry, it can be used to synthetize iodopyrimidine, doxycycline, cortisone, vitamin B6, iodine glycoside, vermicular repellent, thiazide, N-methyl-acyl sarcomatolysin, antineoplastic acid, methoxyaromatic mustard, biazanol mustard, cyclohexanone, furosemide, haemostatic acid, betamethasone, methylprogesterone, bile vitamin, chlorpheniramine, etc.
