LXTL-8A zinc oxide desulfurizer is a new type of fine desulfurizer which can be used at normal and low temperature with active zinc oxide as the main body and adding special components. LXTL-8A type zinc oxide desulfurizer is a kind of columnar particles formed by extrusion with active ZnO as the main body and adding appropriate amount of other active components. It is suitable for fine desulfurization of gas phase (hydrogen, syngas, natural gas, petroleum gas, ammonia, CO2, etc.) and liquid phase (propylene, liquid hydrocarbon, reforming raw materials, jet fuel, etc.). After LXTL-8A treatment, the sulfur content in the raw material can be reduced from 1-5ppm to less than 0.1ppm.

If there is ppm level trace water in the gas and liquid raw materials, the above purification process can be promoted:

 

COS+H2O=H2S+CO2

CS2+2H2O=2H2S+CO2

H2S+ZnO=ZnS+H2O

 

When LXTL-8A is used, the effect is more obvious with the increase of reaction temperature. With the increase of temperature, the sulfur capacity of LXTL-8A will be greatly increased under the condition of constant purification degree, thus greatly extending the service life of the catalyst.
