Product Description




POLYQUATERNIUM-7(also names M550) is a kind of cationic polymer polymerized by DMDAAC(dimethyl diallyl ammonium chloride) and acrylamide. It has excellent wetting, softening and film-forming property and widely used in shampoo and cosmetics. It has obvious effects on hair conditioning, moisturizing, lustering, softening and smoothing, and is one of the main contents in two-in-one shampoo. When applied in skin care products and shaving cream, it is also an effective smoothing and lubricating wet agent which can produce a smooth residual film that is not sticky and greasy on skin. It can be combined used with cationic guar gum, polyquat-10(cationic HEC) and betaine. and has good compatibility with water, anionic and non-ionic surfactants as well. It can be also used in detergent to increase viscosity and maintain foam.
