Butt welding machine(Φ2.0-Φ6.5 mm)The structure of this series of welding machines is mainly composed of welding transformer, fixed electrode, moving electrode, feeding mechanism (pressurizing mechanism), water cooling system and control system.
The left and right electrodes are respectively connected with the conductor of the secondary coil of the welding transformer through multi-layer copper sheets, and the secondary coil of the welding transformer is cooled by circulating water. There are protective plates on both sides and below the welding joint to prevent molten metal from splashing into the transformer and switch. The welder must always clean the metal splash on the protective plate to avoid short circuit and other faults.

Machine Features
1. Feeding mechanism: the feeding mechanism can complete the melting and extrusion process required in welding. It mainly includes control lever, movable cross frame, adjusting screw, etc. when the control lever is moved in the two pole position, the maximum working stroke of the electrode can be obtained.
2. Switch control: press the button, then turn on the relay to make the AC contactor pull in, and then the welding transformer is connected. Resistance welding or flash welding can be carried out by moving the control lever. When the weldment is shortened due to plastic deformation and reaches the specified upsetting allowance, the travel screw touches the travel switch to automatically cut off the power supply. The control power supply is supplied by a control transformer with a secondary voltage of 36 V to ensure the personal safety of the operator.
3. Jaw (electrode): the left and right electrode seats (8) are equipped with lower jaw (13), lever type clamping arm (10), clamping screw (9) and sleeve hook (7) with handle to clamp the clamping arm. The lower jaw is chrome zirconium copper, and the lower part is a copper block for energizing, which is composed of two wedge-shaped copper blocks to adjust the required jaw height. Both sides of the wedge-shaped copper block are covered by guard plates.
4. Electrical installations: The welding transformer is of iron shell type, with the primary voltage of 380V, the primary coil of the transformer is disc winding, and the secondary winding is made of three copper plates with copper water pipes welded around them in parallel. During welding, the adjustment stage is selected according to the size of the weldment to obtain the required no-load voltage (attached with the adjustment stage number table).

(2)The length of power on time in the welding process can be controlled by the welder through button switch and travel switch.
(3)The switch controls the intermediate relay, and the intermediate relay makes the contactor connect or cut off the welding power supply.
