Rn-372 catalyst USES ammonia as reducing agent to reduce and eliminate NOx in nitric acid, nitrate tail gas and other industrial smoke, which can transform NOx into N₂And H₂O.It is especially suitable for atmospheric nitric acid system with high activity at low temperature and low ammonia consumption.

3. Catalyst loading and activation start-up

The catalyst does not require hydrogen reduction before use. During the system start-up, the exhaust pressure should be gradually increased according to the resistance of the exhaust treatment system. After the system stabilizes, the exhaust pressure should be increased according to the NO in the exhaust₂Content to regulate ammonia flow to make NH₃/NO_XThe ratio was controlled in 1.1 ~ 1.2.The starting temperature of the catalyst is 160 ~ 220℃, generally around 180℃, which can eliminate NO_XRequirements.

4. Catalyst bed pressure control

The catalyst bed pressure is closely related to the catalyst bed height diameter ratio (generally 0.3 ~ 0.5), the gas flow rate, the opening rate of the gas distribution plate, the shape and size of the catalyst particles, the mechanical strength and the operating process conditions.It is suggested that the storm-diameter ratio of catalyst bed should be controlled at about 0.4, so that the pressure drop of catalyst bed can be effectively controlled at 0.1 ~ 0.15kg/cm². General chemical design unit requires catalyst bed pressure drop ≤0.3g/cm².
