Brief introduction of colloid mill machine 

Colloid Mill is an ideal wet ultra-particulate processing equipment, suitable to grind, homogenize, emulsify, disperse and mix various types of emulsion materials. It is widely used in many industries as food (fruit juice, protein milk, soy milk, milk tea, dairy products, etc), beverage, pharmaceuticals (various types of syrups, detergents, etc.), chemicals (pigments, dyes, lubricants, petroleum catalysis, etc.), coal flotation machines, ceramic shaft materials, nanomaterials,and etc.

Structure of colloid mill machine 

The basic principle of colloid mill is that the fluid or semi-fluid material passes between the stationary fixed teeth(stator) and the high-speed rotating moving teeth(rotor), then get subjected to strong shearing force, friction force and high-frequency vibration, so that the material is effectively crushed, emulsified, homogenizated and mixed.

The colloid mill is mainly composed of hopper, machine cover, stator, rotor, adjustment mechanism, cooling mechanism, motor, switch, outlet. Except for the motor, all parts in contact with the material are made of stainless steel. In particular, the key mover and stator are strengthened, so it has good corrosion resistance and wear resistance, so that the processed materials are free from pollution and hygienic.

Operation method of colloid mill peanut butter making machine   
1. Connect the feeding hopper(feeding pipe) and the outlet(circulation pipe); connect the cooling water pipe if needs to work for a long time.
2. Install the power starter with an ammeter and indicator light. After the power is connected, the motor should be turned on to determine the motor direction. From the inlet, the direction should be clockwise.
3. Adjust the gap between the grinding discs(stator and rotor), loosen the two handles (counterclockwise) and then turn the adjusting disc clockwise. Use one hand to extend into the square mouth of the base and turn the motor blades. When the adjusting ring feels a little friction, stop immediately. Then reverse the adjustment ring a little to make the gap of the grinding plate larger than the alignment number. Generally, in the case of meeting the final product fineness requirement, the clearance between the grinding discs should be made larger as much as possible, this will make the discs service life longer. Then tighten the handle clockwise to lock the adjustment disc to fix the gap between the grinding discs.
4. Thoroughly disinfect and clean the inside of the machine.
5. Turn on the cooling water, start the colloid mill and wait until the operation is normal. Empty running must not be operated for more than 15 seconds.
6. Quartz, broken glass, metal scrap etc. hard material is not allowed to mix into processing material, otherwise the stator and rotor will be damaged during grinding.
7. Pay attention to the motor load, if overloading is found, should reduce the input.
8. The colloid mill is a high-precision machine. The gap between the grinding discs is extremely small, and the rotation speed is very high. The operator should strictly operate according to the regulations. If found fault, stop runing in time.
9. After using, the machine should be thoroughly cleaned to ensure no material is left inside, avoiding leakage caused by mechanical seal bonding.
