1688 is a wholesale website owned by Alibaba group that most of the suppliers of Alibaba, Aliexpress, Taobao, Amazon, Ebay buying from. It contains more than 10 million verified manufacturers in 49 categories. Since there’s only Chinese version and accept RMB (China Yuan) payment only, normally you need an agent to help for the issues like communication, MOQ, inland delivery and quality control, etc.
You can use google translator and your mobile number to read and sign in 1688 pages, but it’ll be easier to find an agent to help do this. Once the account ready, the products can be searched by keywords (Chinese) or photos. The prices are also in RMB and you need to convert it to your currency.
For the same product, you can find many sellers. Only several of them are the manufacturers and the rest are resellers. As usual, the price from the manufacturer will be the cheapest.

We suggest Alibaba Trade Assurance and Transferwise payment. Paypal is available too but only personal payment is acceptable (no buyer's protection for dropshipping to varies addresses). For small amount, West Union and Moneygram is also OK. You can use alipay or wechat pay too.
