FRDP-PP heat shrinkable sleeve - 3LPP HSS is a kind of wraparound heat shrinkable sleeve is designed for 3-layer coated
Polypropylene pipe. It is mainly for high temperature requirements as 100℃ and 110℃.
The 3LPE shrink sleeve for field joint is mainly used for the 3-layer polyethylene coated pipeline weld joint, and the highest design temperature is up to 80℃.
The closure patch length and thickness are equal to sleeve axial length and thickness, respectively.
closure patch width: 120 mm for sleeves Φ168~Φ426 while 150 mm for sleeves > Φ426.
CYG field joint applied heat shrink sleeve including both 3LPE heat shrink sleeve and 3LPP heat shrink sleeve. CYG weld joint sleeve ( Heat shrink type ) has a wide range if service temperature. We offer the heat shrink sleeve with design temperature from -50℃ to 120℃ accordingly.

When you need to protect pipeline bends, elbows and T joints, then suggest to choose FRDS/ FRDS-PP heat shrink tape. It's a kind shrink tape with hot melt adhesive and PE backing/PP Backing, together with epoxy resign. The heat shrinkable tapes can be offered in flexible width and suitable for the irregular fittings, it's three layer type with the same structure as plant applied 3LPE coating /3LPP Coating, most importantly, we can offer according to your different technical requirements since we have our own R&D Team and CNAS Lab.
When your main pipeline is 3LPE coated pipeline, pls. choose FRDS, while when your main pipeline is 3lPP coated pipe, you need to choose FRDS-PP. The exact temperature need to compaire with the pipe design temperature.
To choose what kind of material, it depends on the mainline pipe coating, it's better to keep the same structure as the factory applied coating. Of course, If your environment is not suitable for heating, then we suggest you to choose cold applied tapes like visco-elastic tapes, PE/PP cold applied tapes.
