In 1978, the oil ministry commissioned the production of drilling fluid analysis instruments.

In early 1979, refer to the drawing and technical data of mud parameter measuring instrument imported from USA, the sample of this machine was tested.

In September, the sample was successfully trial-produced and put into mass production.

In 1980, new products such as filter press, mud balance,2-speed,6-speed viscometer, funnel viscometer and sand content kit were produced.The filter press, which using inflator, compared with foreign similar products, got rid of the disadvantages of the once use of the stingy bomb, extended the service life.

In 1984, two new products were further developed, Pipe-Freeing Fluid Analyzer and HPHT Filter Press.Got the first prize in the achievements of Qingdao "five small" cup competition in shandong province and the achievements of "five small" cup competition second prize.

By 1986, the total output was 9348 sets, which was sold to national petroleum and geological exploration departments, It has changed the situation of domestic depend on the imported drilling fluid analysis instrument and realized the localization.

From 1987 to 1999, products of the company were widely used in oil drilling, geological survey, chemical engineering units and scientific research institutes, which won a high reputation among users.

In 2000, China national natural gas corporation specified the company as the only supplier, to supply the instruments for their international drilling fields. In February of the same year, the first EP Lubricity Tester in China was successfully developed and put into mass production, and became a substitute for imported products in China.

In 2003, it passed ISO9000 quality management system certification of national quality management center. The DLA-II Drilling Fluid Lubricity Analyzer was developed successfully. In September of the same year, in the product appraisal meeting,the product passed the identification at one time and put into mass production. In the same year, the project won the award of "Qingdao science and technology achievement".

In 2004, the oil well cement tester was put into mass production.It has been awarded as one of the top ten enterprises in shinan district.

In 2006, it was rated as AA level enterprise.

In 2008, it attended the product standard documents' drafting and compiling together with North China Oilfield and Shengli Oilfield.

In 2009, it was appraised as a clean producing enterprise.

In 2010, the HPHT Swell Meter apply for national patent and be accepted.
