Description

RG JIAYE® RGM-BW-RU Sythetic Roofing Underlayment is a coated woven synthetic roof underlayment that can provide excellent water protection and ease of installation, as a roofing felt alternative. It is fiber grip walking surface improves steep slope walk-ability. Unlike traditional asphalt saturated felts,  RGM-BW-RU can be used at extremely low temperatures. It also does not dry out, crack, or leach oils in the heat. RGM-BW-RU will not absorb water and wrinkle like felt.

RGM-BW-RU Roofing Underlayment must be installed above properly ventilated space as it is considered as a vapor barrier. It should not be used on slopes less than 2:12. It must be covered by asphalt shingles within 30 days of applications. Good safety practices should be followed on steep slope roofs, such as use of tie-offs, toe boards, ladders or safety ropes.
