Peculiarity:

 

 White fine acicular or inclined columnar crystal.Odorless, bitter taste, easy weathering in dry air.The proportion of 1.68.Soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol and glycerin.The crystallization of the water in the 67.5℃  dissolve in itself.Thermal decomposition, 70, 80℃  is lost four molecules of crystal water.In 200℃  lost all crystallization water into water.

 

Application:

 Magnesium Sulfate Heptahydrate mainly used in fertilizer, tanning, printing and dyeing, catalyst, paper making, plastic, porcelain, pigment, match, explosives and fire prevention materials manufacturing.Can be used for dyeing and printing of thin cotton cloth, silk, cotton silk as fillers and kapok products packing;Medicine, used as Epsom salt.
