U-shape heat exchangers are very popular and commonly found in industrial use. This is mainly due to their versatility. U-shape heat exchanger is composed of tube box, barrel, head, heat exchange tube, pipe, baffle plate, anti-impact plate and diversion tube, anti-short circuit structure, supporting and other accessories of the shell and tube.
U-shaped tube heat exchanger has only one tube plate, both ends of the tube are fixed on the same tube plate, the tube can be adjustable freely, no thermal stress, and can also solve the problem of thermal compensation effectively.
It is suitable for large temperature difference between pipe and shell wall, or the shell side medium ,which is easy to scale and need cleaning, and it is not suitable for floating head type and fixed tube plate. It is especially suitable for high temperature, high pressure and corrosive materials which are not easy to scale and clean in tube
