Range of Application
With extreme corrosive resistance to acid, alkali and other corrosive media as well as good thermal conductivity, graphite heat exchanger is widely used in organic and inorganic chemistry.
Graphite heat exchanger is mainly used in chemical processing, such as heating, cooling, condensing and absorbing. We can provide different design according to different medium. It could be identified as cylindrical blocks, cubic blocks, shell & tube, spray, immersion and other types based on different structures.

Structure Features
It’s mainly used to medium’s cooling condensation,heating and evaporation.
It is composed of some round blocks and top&bottom heads .Between each block is anti-corrosive gasket(O-ring PTFE rubber or PTFE gasket)
The metal shell and graphite head is sealed by O ring,which allows free slide between steel shell and graphite.Changes in length due to thermal expansion or contraction are compensated for by helical springs.
Axial direction and radical direction round hole passages are distributed in the heat exchanger.
If the medium in tube pass is corrosive medium,the steel shell must be painted or lined with an anti-corrosive layer.
When vapor medium is condensing, add one gas-liquid separator must be added on the bottom of equipment to separate gas and liquid.
The material of gas-liquid separator:graphite,steel lined or PTFE.Different separator can be chosen by different working condition.
