ADSA(acetylated distarch adipate) is a high grade starch further modified on the basis of esterification(AS) which is crosslinked by adipic aldehyde. Its gelatinization temperature is lower while paste wire is shorter comparing to common starch products, as well as the precipatation phenomenon of the paste is also weaker. Its aging tendency is obviously reduced, and low-temperature storage and freeze-thaw stability are improved as well. It can resist heat, acid and shearing. It’s often used as food additive in liquid products asks well freeze/melt property such as oyster/tomato/seafood/salad sauce, cold beverage and yoghurt, or in other high demanding places such as can food, meat product, noodle product, etc.
