Product Application
The induction coil of 60 t medium frequency smelting furnace is made of special 10 mm thick high-quality copper tube:
copper content of coil tube: ≥ 99.99%,
tensile strength: 225 kg / cm,
elongation rate: 48%,
hardness: HB 35,
insulation resistance of less than 1kV: ≥ 0.45 MΩ,
insulation resistance of above 1kV: ≥ 0.9 MΩ.
The thick wall induction coil has a larger current carrying section, so the coil resistance is low and more electric energy is applied to smelting. In addition, because the wall thickness is uniform, the strength is higher, the strength of the coil structure is better, and the bearing capacity of the molten steel is stronger. The induction coil structure is not easily damaged by arc and deformation expansion. The open space between each turn of the induction coil improves the electrical efficiency.
