Propylene glycol (PG C3H8O2) is a colorless liquid with a steady viscosity and good water absorption. It is almost odorless, non-flammable and almost non-toxic. It is mixed with water, ethanol and various organic solvents.

Areas of use:
- Raw materials for unsaturated polyester, epoxy resin, polyurethane resin
- Emulsifier and demulsifier, can also be used as antifreeze and heat carrier
- Solvent carrier; wetting agents; stabilizer; paint industry
