Hemp extracts are hydrophobic (not water soluble) molecules. In order to overcome the immiscibility of the extracts in water to infuse edibles, beverages and creams, a proper method of emulsification is needed.
Ultrasonic cavitation is a very effective emulsification method to prepare superior emulsions in the nano range. The sonication of emulsions with turbidities makes them translucent or clear and transparent, because it reduces the marterial droplet size to diminutive droplets in the suitable range This increases the emulsion stability significantly. Ultrasonically produced emulsions are often self-stable without addition of an emulsifier or surfactant. For hemp oil, nano emulsification improves bioavailability and produces a more profound effect. Therefore lower hemp product doses can give you the same effects.

3.Evaporation: For the separation of the hemp oil from the solvent, commonly a rotor-evaporator is used. The solvent, e.g. ethanol, can be recaptured and reused.
4.Nano-Emulsification: By sonication, the purified hemp oil can be processed into a stable nanoemulsion, which offers superb bioavailability.
