Elongation and expansion and twist direction
1 For hoses with design working pressures of 0.8MPa, 1.0MPa, 1.3MPa, and 1.6MPa, the axial elongation and diameter expansion rate
should not be greater than 5% under the design working pressure. 2 For hoses with design working pressures of 2.0MPa and 2.5MPa,
the axial elongation and diameter expansion rate should not be greater than 8% under the design working pressure. 3 Under the
action of water pressure, the water belt should not be twisted counterclockwise when viewed along the water flow direction.
Use and Maintenance
1 The hose should be used according to the design working pressure indicated on the hose, to prevent the hose from rupture,
damage or shorten the service life of the hose due to excessive pressure, and cause the danger of personal accident. 2 Sudden
twists and turns should be avoided when laying the hose to prevent the ability of water pressure resistance from being reduced;
twisting should also be avoided to prevent the hose from rotating after being filled with water and disengaging the inner buckle
hose interface. 3 When the water belt is laid vertically, it should be fixed at a distance of about 10m, so as to prevent the
water belt from breaking, causing damage to fighters and injuring personnel. 4 After the hose is filled with water, it should be
avoided forcibly dragging on the ground, and special attention should be paid to avoid the hose coming into contact with sharp
objects such as nails and glass pieces. When you need to change the position, it should be lifted and moved to reduce the wear of
the hose and the ground. The hose should not be dragged in a V shape to avoid breaking the hose. 5 The hose should avoid contact
with corrosive chemicals such as oil, acid and alkali. If necessary, it is advisable to use the water belt of the outer covering.
6 Hard weights should be avoided from pressing on the water belt. When the vehicle needs to pass the water belt being laid, the
water belt protection bridge should be installed in the passing position in advance. 7 When laying through the railway, the hose
should pass under the railway track. 8 When using fire hoses outside buildings in cold areas, the hoses should be prevented from
freezing. 9 The hose should be washed and dried after use, and the coil should be stored in a cool and dry place.
