Oxidized bitumen 90/40 has a high softening point and low needle penetration degree. Different grades of this type of bitumen are
produced for various purposes that they are known with two numbers, one of them is softening point, and the other one is needle
penetration level. These numbers are measured by an international test method named ASTM.
Technical properties:
Blown bitumen 90/40during air blowing operation gets rubbery property more than previous grades. R 90/40 softening point and
