One sales packaging has a content of 700 g. This corresponds to a quantity of 25 kg filter sand.
2.Do I need additional filter sand when using filter balls?

3.Can I also put the filter balls in the washing machine for cleaning?
The filter balls can be washed in the washing machine, but it is up to the end customer to decide whether they want to do it. We do not make any recommendations for this. The dirt that the filter balls take up ends up in the washing machine, which means that consequential damage cannot be ruled out. We recommend hand washing or cleaning.
4.How should the filter balls be disposed of?
Bring the filter balls to your nearest waste collection center. Filter balls are made of polyethylene and are 100% recyclable.
5.How effective are filter balls?
If you use commercially available filter systems with quartz sand, particles up to 40 μm in size are filtered out of the pool
water. However, if you use filter balls instead of quartz sand in your existing filter system, these particles filter up to a size
of 1.5 μm from your pool water.
6.Can I backwash the filter system when using the filter balls?
Filter balls have a very high dirt absorption. The dirt particles adhere very strongly within the filter balls and promote an even better and finer filtering. With conventional filter systems, the performance of the filter pump is not sufficient to wash out the dirt. Therefore, we do not recommend backwashing with the filter system, but washing by hand or in the washing machine. Regularly check the degree of contamination and clean the filter balls as required.
