1). Install the steering pump;

2). Fill up the oil reservior;

3) Do not turn the steering wheel after starting the engine. Let the steering pump circulates the oil first. Observe the oil and replenish the oil in time until it reaches the proper level. Turn the steering wheel until the installation is completed.

Flush The System

Old fluid must be flushed from hydraulic hoses, steering unit and hydro- boost (if so equipped). Power flushing is an option, but manual flush- ing methods are preferred. Regardless of technique used, all old fluid MUST be flushed from the system and then replaced with OEM- approved new fluid type. Failure to properly flush the system, and not using the correct fluid will VOID THE UNIT WARRANTY.
